Moorpark woman goes after Miss America title
Throughout her 24 years growing up in Oxnard and Moorpark, Jacquelynne Fontaine has reached as far as she could for her grades, her physical prowess, and for parts she wanted in operas and musical theater. In about a week, Fontaine will be stretching that reach farther than she has before. On Jan. 29, she will compete for the title of Miss America 2007.
