It took 56 years to complete, but in November of 2004, a rare 33-foot handcrafted sailboat finally hit the water. It took two men with the same dream to make it happen. Construction on the vessel started in 1948, but the first builder died in 1989 before the boat was ready for the water. Here is the story of how the "Jonquil" came to be.
